Relationship Coaching

Are you in a committed relationship that could be more fun, satisfying, or peaceful?

Dr. Jacqueline Peters supports heartfelt conversations between partners that reveal feelings and perspectives that may not otherwise be shared. She leverages a wide range of strategies and techniques with couples, focusing on strengthening the friendship base of the relationship while building skills to resolve conflict, deal with persistent issues, and envision a strong future together.

As a couples coach, Jacqueline draws upon years of education and experience working with human dynamics, communication, and relationship issues. She has completed Level 3 training in the¬†Gottman Method of Couples Therapy and has completed courses with Sue Johnson in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is the only couples therapy that has a documented 70 to 75 percent success rate in clinical studies and focuses on enhancing couple’s abilities to be Accessible, Responsive, and Engaged in their relationship.

It’s not all about education though. Jacqueline walks her talk and brings warm, practiced and real-life perspective from her own marriage of more than 27 years with her husband, Energy Consultant and Professional Engineer, Joe Peters. This personal experience is strengthened by Jacqueline and Joe’s regular participation in couples conferences, workshops, and monthly couples enrichment sessions that they have co-facilitated and participated in for over 14 years.
